Draytek Vigor 3900 High Performance Multi-WAN VPN Device

Vigor 3900 is a high performance four Gigabit WAN router for high-performance applications such as remote access, firewall, load balancing and load circuit. WAN yield works up to 1 Gb/sn, which is enough for the most demanding SME applications. WAN ports on Vigor 3900 can provide load balancing or WAN load circuit. Vigor 3900 based on a new DrayTek OS platform combines high performance and capacity with the ease of traditional use of DrayTek and comprehensive features set.

For multiple tenants or departmental flexibility, Vigor3900 will support multiple LAN IP sub network, VLAN capabilities and user management together, WAN resources will only provide access to appropriate users or departments as well as maintain infrastructure efficiency.

Draytek Vigor 3900 Four WAN ports for load balancing or charging

Four Gigabit Ethernet WAN port and a SFP slot (for fiber modules or an additional Ethernet module), provide 5 independent WAN ports for load balancing or load circuitry applications. Gigabit Ethernet and SFP LAN Interfaces provide high speed connectivity to your LAN.

Fiber is especially used for longer distance deliveries beyond the standard Ethernet range or copper connections are not available. WAN Load Balancing weight or traffic type rules can be adjusted or automatically adjustable to spread the WAN traffic evenly on all interfaces based on the best effort.

If you need more WAN connection, Vigor 3900 supports VLAN labels at WAN ports and allows for WAN port up to 50 pcs with optional Switch

Vigor 3900 as a VPN end point/intensifier will support VPNs from IPsec VPN tunnels to 700 Mb/sn with a VPN yield up to 500 simultaneous remote employees or LAN to LAN. .

VPN security contains certificate, MOTP or token/PSK-based access and key mixed authentication to ensure maximum safety.

SSL VPN

DrayTek’s SSL VPN uses a standard TLS encryption (the same of the protocol used forHTTPS websites) and so most networks and public Internet access/WiFi may not be blocked.

A SSL VPN tunnel can be created from any client device such as Windows, MacOS, iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Android phones and tablets. DrayTek Smart VPN Client app available for free

High availability

Vigor 3900 provides High Availability (HA) for further durability.

CARP protocol (a equivalent toVRRP or HSRP), allows you to install a master and secondary Vigor 3900, so the secondary unit can switch smoothly and automatically in case of failure of the main unit. This can eliminate the possibility of a single failure point in your routers. In addition, multiple active Vigor 3900 can provide mutual routing strain to other active Vigor 3900s.
