In a statement dated November 4, 2026, Vodafone reported that 40 tonnes of electronic waste had been recycled to date through its “Dünya İçin Lazım” project. The company also said its nature conservation education had reached more than 87,000 people.

The announced figures are cumulative project totals

The bulletin says waste collected through the project, run with WWF-Türkiye and Habitat Association, is processed at Ouno Green Campus. The 40 tonnes is not presented as waste collected only on November 4; it is the project’s total to date.

The results are based on Vodafone’s own statement. They should not be interpreted as Quad Bilişim’s recycling activity or as an environmental saving every organization will achieve.

Quad Bilişim comment

The corporate technology lifecycle extends beyond purchasing new devices. Traceable handling of retired equipment is part of that lifecycle too. The news shows how recycling and education are linked within one project; the reported weight alone does not explain how an organization’s device data is managed.
