Cloudflare Access adds custom template support to login and blocking pages
Source announcement date: 2026-10-27 · News/event date: 2026-10-27
In its October 27 announcement, Cloudflare announced that its Access service supports HTML and Liquid templates for the login and access denial screens it displays to the user. The innovation includes customizing the descriptions and visual identity seen when connecting to enterprise applications.

Scope of the announcement
Supported screens include login, identity denial, prohibited access, and command line confirmation pages. Templates can be assigned to the application or made account default. With Liquid variables, the user can be presented with an explanation appropriate to the situation.
This announcement does not mean that the access policy automatically changes. The news is about how the policy decision will be displayed to the user; Availability and detailed limitations on a particular subscription should be checked separately in the official document.
Quad Bilişim commentary
Making the access denial screen clear can improve the context of the support conversation. A page that carries the visual identity of the institution and the security decision itself are different layers; The new look alone is not proof of stronger authentication.
